** Blue Ice now operates as a cuartet! Yet another change in lineup has taken place! Jesus Parra - guitar and vox Luis Mayol - bass and vox are the new band members. For the time being the band will operate as a cuartet. Since Jesus plays a bunch of different instruments (accordeon, mandolin etc) new musical directions can and will be explored. Luis is a strong vocalist and that facet will also be a strong part of Blue Ice's live shows. Jesus was on Peter's list a long time and already has proven to be a perfect member of Blue Ice. Luis and Peter form part of the trio Supervedette together with Gabriel "Conejo" Jolivet and Luis was the obvious choice for Blue Ice.
** Two new members have joined the band: - Merran Laginestre (Australia) on piano & vocals & - Mac (Spain) on bass, after Miguel Rodriguez left for Holland to study piano there and Thomas Kortmann (bass) had to leave the band due to lack of time. The premiere of the new line-up has taken place in Jaén, Spain on the "Festival de Musica en la calle Internacional" last september. More information...
